How To Make High Protein Ice Cream…

Here is one of my favourite healthy treats... High protein ice cream!



This is how you make it, just mix the following in the blender:

1 cup of egg whites
10-20 frozen strawberries depending on the size
(you can also add in other frozen fruit of your choice)
2-3 scoops of vanilla whey protein
2 tablespoonfuls of Splenda

Blend it up until it has a consistency like frozen yoghurt. You'll most likely have to stop and stir up the frozen fruit a couple times to get it to mix well because it is so thick.

  1. cool. il give it a try sometime. u could probably even put it in the freezer to store, and so it goes abit harder to be more like ice cream.

    Good stuff, I added in some ice cubes as well. Not Ben and Jerry's but i don't need to run 5 miles after either LOL.

  4. looks good mate... but if I want an actual ice cream consistancy can it be stuck in the freezer and left to set? or can it only be eaten straight after the belnding process when its more of a frozen yoghurt form?

  7. Yes, you can put it in the freezer to make it more like ice cream. Just don't leave it in too long of it will freeze solid.

  8. good stuff. I am in the process of developing a high protein ice cream for sale commercially in sfupermarkets and stores. is this something you would buy if you saw it on the shelves?

    Can you explain what Splenda realy is, becouse i can't seem to find this product here in Belgium. Is it replaceble by another product? Thanks in advance.
