Are you familiar with John DeFendis? He won USA in 88. That is who I work for. I am ULTRA FIT Personal Trainer. I checked out your site, your blogs, and they all seem to lead to an advertisement for a book. Check out http://www.defendis.com I just wondered if you have heard of him or know him like I DO.
ReplyDeletei dunno lee.jay looks good..but kai may run away with it...hes got freaky muscles..maybe even phil too..but chances are jay will win again..i guess that fs-7 training he did all year long payed off ;)
ReplyDeleteI watched the pre-judging on-line after spending the day at the Expo. Wish I could stay for the main events but work won't permit it. I have to agree that Jay was more on his game than he has been since '06. He looked hard, lean, cut, full and 100% through the whole night. I think he took it back from Dexter. Dexter's a definite 2 spot. Phil looked good but seemed to soften as the night wore on, but still, on symmetry alone he's got Kai and Branch beat. I love Branch and on sentiment alone would like to see him edge out Kai for 4th. Probably won't happen, but I'd love it. So, basically, I agree with your picks, but would like to see Branch get some respect against the newbie, Kai, and take 4th.
ReplyDelete1 - Jay Cutler
ReplyDelete2 - Dexter Jackson
3 - Kai Greene
4 - Phil Heath
5 - Branch Warren
What about Dennis Wolf?
ReplyDeleteFocusing on the top 2 - to my mind clearly Dexter and Jay; with Jay as the winner. I have never been a big Jay fan as his waist throws everything off but his new found condition has sealed the deal for me; this, and how bad Dexters legs look from the front.
ReplyDeleteFor me, Dexter edges everything from the front as Jays waist is still way too big - not distended this time but still big enough to throw off his shape. I say that Dexter edges it simply because his legs are way too thin and lack detail against Jay. It could go either way as both are big deficencies and Jay definately brings the size.
From the side it's Dexter for me - legs look better and his waist enables him to edge Jay. From the back it's a different story - Jay all the way; freaky legs in a combo with freaky back just blow Dexter off the stage.
Jay has the freakyness and the condition to reclaim the crown; but it's no-way a steal from the defending champion.
ya, jay looks good a cut above the rest a few things dexter has over jay but i think that jay has it
ReplyDeleteYeah I think it's going to be either kai Greene, his freaky cut physique is awsum. Or jay, his sheer mass puts most in the shade.
ReplyDeleteI`m not really familiar with this so I`m new to this but I would to say Jay cutler.
ReplyDeletealways been a fan of jay and glad to see he's back at the top of his game. think your right he's got it in the bag! kai greene is one to look for the future!!
ReplyDeleteI like Jays hair cut.

I think far too often the top guys win on reputation. Can you really say Ronnie Coleman deserved to win each of those years?
